Yes my in-laws are fine and they were not disappointed seeing me in person. But I am gigling by looking at this thread is growing and at page 3 someone put a shame on this thread. As for me sometime its fun and Ok to share minor detail or personal detail to give confidence to someone doing same thing which we went thru(like I have beein using photos taken at Kinkos and Sears). Nevertheless since date is coming closer to file our 485 it makes me happy to see several smiley face and helping hands in IV forums. Glad to be helping others and ignore rants of others.

RonHira did a pretty accurate transcript. The funniest part was the way Donna was talking to the folks there. It seemed very much like the way a PreSchool teacher talks to her class. She was speaking slowly, repeating stuff multiple times, adding extra emphasis on phrases (like "talking point") and repeating them. Then someone would suggest something and she will go "That is a perfect post", and then he/she will try to say something, and Donna would go "No No, what you said first was perfect, don't deviate".
I was feeling bad for the Antis.

Not sure whether you got a chance to ask the officer about the reason for this visit? Was it a part of random check or any investigation on fund transfers or any other program etc?
Now, I think it is a random check and nothing like 'employer audit'. I never asked him -at that time I thought it was a part of background check.
I believe they are always doing these checks probability could be 1/100,000 although i have no idea at the frequency.

US considers 16years of full time or equivalent of full time education as Bachelors degress(12yrs school + 4 yrs college/universit degree). Even Indian Bachelors of 3 yrs(12yrs school + 3 yrs coll/Univ) is not considered to be equivalent of US Bachelors.
From what my attorney told me,
1)16yrs of education(US Bachelors)/Indian 3 yr bachelors & 2/3years of Masters + 5 years experience qualifies for EB2 category.
2)15yrs of education(India Bachelors) + 5 or more years of education qualifies for EB3 cateogry.
3)Not sure of Diploma
You have said you have 3 yrs diploma + 1 yr bachelors, I assume your total years of education is 14 yrs(10 yrs school + 3 years diploma + 1 yr bachelors/coll/Univ). Wishful thinking - Would be nice if the court went against AZ and asked the congress and senate to resolve the issue soon through legislative action. Republicans will be against any sort of amnesty, so not a thing will happen till November, but there may be chances of piecemeal legislations to address legal immigration issues if Republicans get the majority.
I have paid over $10 K in attorney fees so far and Obama wants to legalize the illegals who broke the law by granting them amnesty and asking them to pay a "fine"? If this happened in our home country, wouldn't we all do the same and think the same as the people of Arizona? I'm in favor of AZ taking this initiative .
I agree with you on amnesty. And I usually agree with republicans on immigration law reforms. Surprisingly, they have been fair. But I dont think AZ new law falls into this republican agenda. I live in Phoenix. I can see the racist motivation behind it.
Ironically, dont forget that if there are no illegals, noone would be talking about any kind of immigration reform!

Transfered from NSC to CSC. My bad luck. Didn't apply EAD, AP. No news on FP. I heard that CSC processes FP lat than other centers. I know my neighbours got FP notices who filed a month later from NSC.

I called the customer service # on 11/04 and the guy told me that he is sending email reguest for my FP and I got FP notice (my attorney's office also got one) on 11/13. Hope this helps.

Changing to vertical spillover will NOT help EB3 India or China. EB3 ROW is not current and it will suck up all overflow leaving EB2I, EB2C, EB3I and EB3C to their annual quota only. USCIS changing the process to horizontal spillover is the best thing that has happened to I and C community in the absence of immigration reform. Now there is at least some hope for EB3 folks to get a new job and apply in EB2, as at least that queue is faster. If we fight among ourselves and stop vertical spillover, it will only benefit EB3ROW as they will get all overflow from EB1 and EB2ROW. Please guys, let's not fight.

The interview also has snippets of interview with USCIS officer as Brian Williams has interviewed USCIS over this issue also. So its a "must watch" thing.
This will be on NBC and that's good coz you dont even need cable to watch this. In your local area, the NBC channel affiliate will be broadcasting the "Nightly news" with Brian Williams.
Local times may vary depending on your local NBC affiliate. Its most likely 5:30 Central time tonight but check your local listings.

This "AP already approved" so no interimAP(even for emergency) audiotape started since Middle of OCT from NSC IO and local IO's. My AP got LUD on Oct 11th and they said that your AP approved so dont bug us for a duplicate. Wait ... Wait .. Wait ... But how long ??

During that call one should ask USCIS whether USCIS get AP papers back or not ( For whatever reason address change and/or wrong address etc.. not delivered to you). If USCIS receive those papers back then it will resend it upon verifying correct address with you and that is without any extra cost. To make this happen certainly you will have to either make frequent calls to USCIS or take frequent infopass appointments.Down the road if USCIS does not get AP papers back and you simultaneously do not get them, meaning if paper lost during transit, then you do have 2 choice..(1) forget about receipt of AP approval papers this time (2) Refile AP with new fee as USCIS did not get mail (papers) back.
