Most of the Eb3's are either working for big companies who won't do GC in EB2 or not qualified for eb2 ( so called 3 year degree ) and enjoying all these years when they know clearly eb3 is not going any where ...what in the world prevent them to move up the ladder and porting their PDs ...They dont want to take any risk and just show their frustation in internet forums

The Path of joy is not that.. Path of Joy is meditation, not this mundane eb1 eb2, this is the problem when the brain is completely with the modern day theories. when you open you bottle in the evening and when you whistle and flirt with girls, there you go you are at the path of pleasure. understand the things first in correct sense. dont speak senseless.

I have same understanding - from friends, who got greencards.
There is no need to let USCIS know about changing job after 180 days of 485 filing. U should have offer / empl letter from the employer when your priority date becomes current.
Job title can be different but job duties must be similar.
Salary difference is ok but it should not be less than what is mentioned in labor certification.
In addition to this couple of my close friends got GC recently and they never notify USCIs about new job(AC 21).

I hope things work in favor with this bill today, but if not, we must ask for Citizenship instead of Greencards. Anyone with me.,
We have all waited for 5-10 year and there are many who got it in one year and then Citizenship in 6-8 years from the day they got their GCs. That was the normal timeframe. But due to their inefficiency, we are waiting this much time. NOT our fault. Now dont you guys think we must ask for Citizenship.. I thought my case was too stressful, came 99, applied 04, waiting for 485 now, but I have seen so many many stories of ohter guys also here who suffered more. I feel we must ask them Citizenship. If we get, great, else atleast we end up with GC.

That is absolutely reasonable.
Canada does exactly that. You need 4 years for citizenship, but if you were in the country legally before getting permanent residence that is counted.
Unfortunately, US legislators don't care about what's reasonable, their only thinking is "will supporting this bill benefit or hurt my chances of re-election"

Please pardon me for my ignorance but why is that every admin fix will work with money in this country?
Does this mean we have to pay money to fix something in the system that will be useful to this country (eg: Senetors take the money and introduce the bills. Do you guys think it is equvalent to Bribe in other countries?)

Obama or Mccain or Joe the plumber whoever becomes the next president, the bottom line is, nothing is going to happen with regards to reforms for legal immigration atleast for teh first 1-2 years. You had already made your point in your initial post to this thread so why rub it in? Is it because you never have faced such a dire situation... if you cannot offer anything constructive atleast shut your trap, don't be such a jerk and let the guy vent!

If so, you can try to workout a solution with your employer where you can work for them in a different country for 1 year and then maybe come back with a new 6 year H1 time. If the economy gets better (and hoping it would), you can perhaps negotiate with them to restart your GC process or at that stage move to another employer. I ask you to think ahead with calm and logic. You will find a solution which you will be happy with in future.

Does this mean a person with EAD has some risk moving to another job even after 6 months if old employer revokes I140?
