An IV core member is going to be helping you to fix this with USCIS. Let us know if you need help. He already tried contacting you yesterday.
As IV grows maybe this is a help IV can extend to all its donor members and help them if they get in such extreme distress situations. This is one of the ideas we are thinking for our members in the donor group.

I really thank IV for the support extended so far. I am praying to god and hoping that this matter is resovled else this will seriously affect my small family of me, my wife and my one year old for absolutely no fault of ours.
I am also working with the law firm and they are trying to reach out to USCIS to try to rectify this grave mistake.
The only thing that really worries me is that in the withdrawl notice from USCIS it says
"'As a result of your request, your application is considered withdrawn, and it will recieve no further consideration by USCIS. There is no appeal to this decision.'"
I will keep the forum updated on any developments

How to get that...My receipt number starts with SRC
A receipt number starting with SRC usually means that the receipt was issued by the Texas Service Center. However, at this moment, the case could be pending at any other center it USCIS transferred it.
Use your receipt number to lookup the case status on the USCIS website. The status will tell you where your case is pending.

India was demanding latest fighter jets (F-22) but US can offer only old version F-16,F-18 to India. Basic reason for US denial to latest technology because of India -US relation and their status .US only offers new technology to its close allys. I think it was prudent move from India�s part to get latest and greatest technology. To get these new technologies US congress needs to pass law and define India as close ally.

Yes I agree, our history and way of working is also different maybe better/worse, but defenitely way more experience! I don't think I would want to change any thing about family , friend relations and the way we help each other. Even some of the ways we think, has a lot of advantages.
we always manage to get things done. There are a lot of unseen riches that are not realized completely.
we should defenitely avoid aping the west, but pick the good stuff out of it.
being open minded and having freedom of expression is good up to a certain point!
There is freedom and education even in India, I agree infrastructure needs improvement.
India is 3rd in the world if you account for purchasing power parity. Don't trash India so soon. have you looked at how people lived in the US 40-50 years back? While I agree Indian IT should do more quality work and treat employees fairly. He no longer works with Infy, he just made generic comments.
There is no freedom and especially education in India. in US even if you are a 60 year old you can join a university but in India things are different. Freedom, what kind of freedom you are talking about. with the political idiots creating havocs for high thinking people. Hey come to reality do not dream
This time is different, I do work in the financial industry.
I would hate to say this - but was every recovery in the last 2 decades mostly due to a bubble that was created - dot-com, low interest, housing?
There are not many bubbles left to create, and the debt was never this high.
Recovery is bloked mainly do to Politics understand that first.
The growth of India should be more compared to Canada, that has a conservative financial system with lot of regulation. AKA no vegas.
Again never compare Canada with India, India is Unique and I am not putting my Motherland on Trash, You are in a way doing that, by comparing it with Canada and USA.
STOP religious Conversion and propoganda all over the world all the countries will live happily.

Calling all EB3 INDIA applicants with a PD before October 1, 2001.
Friends we have been current since November 1st of this year. Many of us still have not heard anything about our cases. If you have this PD you have already been waiting over 7 yrs. What should we do to get USCIS's attention to look at our cases. It seems service requests are useless. They send the same old letter to everyone and thesere is no action. Whats our best options. Lets gather and look at ideas on what we can do. We know USCIS is so random.
Friends this is very imp for us. We have already suffered the most and are the most behind in dates compared to any other Category and country. We waited in pain and silence for years for our PD to become current. Now it finally is but still we see no action. Guys speak up lets try to do all we can. In this economy last thing we need is a waste of our 7 yrs of waiting and our files falling through some crack because of a random USCIS process.
Any thoughts, ideas ? whats worked for others and whats not. Will we get our green cards while we are still alive ????????

dint had much time to go thro' your responses. but if senior ppl are targetting this fellow( mercies) for this thread, then i beg to differ. because as a member of IV, i have been answering "hadron" posts too at immigration portal.
I think all Mercies is trying to do is help IV out, by preparing answers of such questions which stupid ppl ask, so they can be put to a stop right away. Probably he's drawing your attention to some q's that all of you have answers for, just guide mercies to that post,
but i think all of your remarks have been directed towards merices only as if he's started it all.
i guess we outta stop ppl who are trying to defame this collective effort by giving them one-point answers.
have to get back to work.

I have bought stamps/envelops and printed # of letters by myself and going desk to desk and urging Desi's to sign and send letters.

As I have already accepted that my decision of choosing CP was not right during the time of recession. When dates became current, I thought mine will be current in a month or so and CP is a faster process to get green card as 485 filers some time stuck in name chack and all ( as I know couple of friends). So that was the only reason I filed Cp instead of 485.
There is one ideom in Hindi -" Chaube jee chale chhabbe jee banane aur reh gaye dubey jee"
