Several Websites(Not RSS/VHP) says Christians are 6% now, Muslims are certainly more than 17-18% as millions of Bangladeshi Infiltirators are unaccounted. It is very evident from the fact as Muslim Votes are the deciding factor in the almost most areas of NorthEast, UP, Bihar & West Bengal and that is the only reason, Samajwadi Party & Congress start the Babri Maszid rhetoric just before elections. As most of the posts I see here problem most people have with congress is their Defacto presidentship to the Nehru Dynasty, without counting their contribution to the country. I would have had no problem with Manmohan Singh if he had ruled our country independently, if "Rahul Gandhi" and "Priyanka Gandhi" & "Sonia Gandhi" had to look into the mirror before endorsing him..They completely made a mockery of our democracy by putting puppets in PM's Office, President's office, CEC, CBI and what not. I wish It was Narsimha Rao or a Self Respectful leader who could stand tall infront of the dynasty, but Manmohan Singh sold himself... A quick fact check : Muslims are about 13.5% and christians are about 2% of india's population. So instead of 30% of india belonging to these two groups per your numbers, it is actually closer to 15%. Right wing extremists group use these exagerrated numbers to drive more gullible people into their communal parties. But you get those numbers from VHP/RSS. Check it tomorrow and it could be close to 40% !
It is religious freedom, not religious conversion. And thanks for enlightening us about the global plan to decimate indians by racking up numbers on their side. Are all of the indians coming to US have a similar plan because I am not aware of it.

I think the entire community should align behind Administrative reforms with a laser-focus. This initiative is a digression.
IV has had it's own share of success with it's approach. No other methods have succeeded so far .
Also, from my little IV volunteering experience I can vouch that our community has very high inertia and is difficult to organize. people are afraid to send letters to president...good luck in getting them to sue USCIS.
community does not have the bandwidth to take multiple initiatives.
I see no wisdom in doing this. USCIS/DOS can screw us worse , if they wish to . This is not being timid but being pragmatic...anyway the bravado talk also needs to be followed up by multiple clear paths to victory.

Good point. But point what we are discussing is whether the rules (per country based) made to process GC can be challenged in US Courts within its constitutional limits? If tomorrow US decides to shut down EB/FB we do not have problem. Certainly it has that right. But when US wishes to have those immigrants than do we (applicants - non -immigrants) have a right to challenge particular rule (here per country based limit) in Court?
The U.S government absolutely has that discretion to make any rule/law under the Foreign Policy doctrine which no Court will interfere. The analogy for this would be the rule - wet/dry policy - they follow with the Cuban immigrants who get a GC just based on landing on the U.S soil. Well it is a big deal for all Indians. I am not talking per se about SRK but as a fellow Indian. Does it take 2 hrs to ascertain his identity when he was here as a guest to the Indian Embassy as a Cultural Ambassador of India to participate in the Indian Independence Day Celebrations!!!

This is half truth.
Tn1 to GC is legally possible but once your GC application (I140 and/or I 485) is pending, your TN1 cann't be renewed. If your dates are current, you can apply I 140 and 485 concurently and get EAD, while you hold TN1. Once you get EAD, you don't have to worry about renewal of TN. Here you need to manage possible two risks; You must get EAD before next TN renewal, and by chance, if I 485 deny, you have no back up and must return to Canada.
Current retrogression, it is not possible to go from TN1 to GC.
My PERM labor, I 140 approved and I 485 is pending since more than 12 months. I was confident and took calculative risk.

I am a non-IT (manufacturing) EB3 applicant making half the salary you mentioned in the draft, and I bought a house with a 3% downpayment on a FHA loan. However, I have an excellent credit and I don't foresee myself in a foreclosure situation in the near future. I dont know if there are many GC applicant with my profile, but aren't we helping the housing market by buying a house?
Anyway, I will support every initiative that has the remotest possibility to remove one person in line ahead of me.

Christ is god's son! He does not need a Green Card or any other color card :D So what is the point of making it 0?:p
Please do not spread rumors, can you please point me to the rule that says so? I did not see any Immigration law saying that God's Son doesn't need a Green Card. Christ wasn't born in USA, and neither were his parents US citizens, so his chance of US naturalization comes from a path through Green Card or Asylum. I dont think Christ had a 4 year degree (recognized by USCIS), so he does not qualify for GC based on EB1/2/3 categories. He could claim asylum though religious persecution, but then I am not sure if Christianity was recognized by USCIS during Christ's time :D

the best way for canadian shit is to go back to India when you are sure you will not get the US GC. You can then think of canadian PR from India.
The canadian government just takes your money and you dont get jobs easily. Most of the jobs are for people with job experience "INSIDE CANADA".
India is a good place to shit too. Your daily toilet does not HAVE to be in some other country if the restrooms in US are closed forever.

Mandalapa, 36, was owner and president of Cybersoftec Inc., a business consulting firm based in Edison in 2004 and 2005.
Cybersoftec also claimed offices in Portland, Maine, and
in New Hampshire, and obtained more than 150 certifications in the two states for temporary work visas in 2004 and 2005 through the U.S. Department of Labor, the Portland Press Herald reported.
Cybersoftec, according to Maine Department of Labor records, also filed about 50 labor-certification applications in Maine for green cards, which allow foreigners to live and work in the U.S. indefinitely.
Mandalapa had pleaded guilty to immigration fraud, admitting that he got up to $22,000 from immigrants to file fraudulent documents. Those included I-140s, which are petitions for an alien worker to become a lawful U.S. resident.
Mandalapa has been in custody since his arrest Nov. 3, 2005. His lawyer, Bruno Bier, said Mandalapa will get credit for his 14 months of confinement and will spend about six months in prison before he will likely face deportation proceedings.
None of the indictments on 29 counts of immigration fraud, money laundering and mail fraud related to his applications for green cards were linked to activities in Maine. Mandalapa pleaded guilty to one count as part of a plea bargain.
Bier said Cybersoftec is no longer in business.

So what kind of visionary are you looking for.If we make the current govt's performance as a basis then is it someone like this:
One who questions existence of Rama , makes a success of Sethu samudram project pulling down Ram Sethu thus hitting the sentiments of the Hindus in the Hindu dominated land.
One who arrests Sankaracharya (both semior/junior acharyas)based on suspected conspiracy angle on Deepavali eve and holds him in Jail for 60 days , bringing interruption to the Chandramauleswar puja that has been consistently conducted in the Mutt for 2,500 years (it's another thing nothing was proved for almost 5 years now)
One who abuses Sadhvi Pragnya Thakur with evil intent to bring up something called Hindu terrorism,conduct 4 (not 1/2) narco tests apart from other unmentionable things.
One who overlooks the murder of Swami Laxmanananda Saraswati.
one who set's up conversion camps in Tirumala.
All of them state sponsored.

For those who don't know and who are backing Manmohan Singh he never contested any elecetion so far and he is also not fighting these elections.He is taking Rjay Sabha route again. Don't know at what gun point Sonia Gandhi is holding him but this guy actually wants to retire after having had so many major surgeries all his , one more recently.
Buzz is also that if UPA wins Manmhona singh will be made PM and after some time will be replaced with Rahul Gandhi.So it's all hog wash.
I am looking for a visionary who can bring Indians out of poverty, who can give good education, security, health care and good infrastructure. Who can save us from the unstable countries and aggressive China. I am not bothering whether Sankaracharya is in jail or not. How its going to affect a common man who is begging even for basic amenities.

You are assuming of course that all those who fall in the India category are Indians - I am not. I'm a Canadian who happened to be born in India and thus fall into that same bucket. My fellow Canadians who were born in Canada and are now in the US all support me in the removal of per country limits. Let us be more accurate and refer to this as the "mood amongst fellow Indian-born applicants", as opposed to "fellow Indians".
With one fifth of the world population born in India, we probably consider everyone who has anything to do with India as "Indians" (as Russell Peters, another Indo-Canadian (Anglo Indian) said, "Indians - the ones from the Convenience stores and NOT from the Casinos!"), its the same thing...."Desis" would be a wider term I believe! We love all !
